She works closely with a trusted network of GPs, dietitians, and paediatricians to provide truly comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.

Treatment involves intensive parent coaching as well as individual therapy for the young person to promote physical and psychological recovery. The family is supported by a multidisciplinary specialist team throughout treatment.

A critical component for the effective treatment of eating disorders includes family therapy. Families can play an important role in promoting recovery.

Eating disorder treatment for adults often requires specialist psychological care that is tailored to the individual's specific diagnosis and needs.
